Configuring your ADP integration
1. Add Sora from the ADP Marketplace
You can integrate Sora with ADP by adding Sora right from the ADP Marketplace.
Adding the Sora integration from the ADP Marketplace will add $10 per month to your ADP payment. But don't worry, just let your Sora rep know about it and we will discount your price for Sora to cover the cost.
Then just follow ADP's 4 step process for completing the order.
2. Reach out to your Sora rep
After completing the order from ADP, just reach out to your Sora rep and let them know. We'll verify the connection on Sora's end before you proceed to the next step and authorize the connection.
3. Authorize Sora
Now just navigate to the Sora settings integration page.
You should see your Organization ID, but no Client ID or Client Secret.
Now click the Visit ADP consent page to authorize Sora access button.
This will take you to an ADP page where you can authorize read and write permissions for your Sora integration by clicking Allow.
This will re-direct you back to your Sora ADP integration settings page, where the Client ID and Client secret will now be filled out.
Make sure the integration is toggled to Active and the settings are saved.
4. Determine fields needed for Sora
Sign in to ADP Workforce Now, and click the Process menu item. In the dropdown, hover over HR and then click Hire/Rehire
On the next page click the New Hire block
On the next page find the template you want to use, and send the name of the template to your Sora implementation manager.
From there, the manager will determine which fields are necessary for Sora to send over to satisfy the requirements of the template. You can also create a custom template for just Sora, depending on what data is available in Sora.
5. Update ADP permissions
Finally, update the permissions in ADP on those new hire templates to allow Sora to access the list of required fields for each
Go to Setup > Template Management > Hire/Rehire, then click into the template name
Then go to Assign users and check the box that our integration user is in. It may be called "Profile for system users established by marketplace data connector applications"
Go through the remaining steps in ADP to save permissions
