Regardless of the team your new hire is on, they’ll need special access to systems their team uses. For instance, a new hire on the HR team will need access to Gusto or whichever HRIS their team uses.
Keeping track of every single platform your teams use can be a lot. To make things easy, consider creating a systems access request form or survey that your new hire’s hiring manager (say that five times fast) fills out to identify the software their new hires need access to.

After your manager responds, in that same workflow, you can also have a task, assigned to your system admins, automatically trigger to provide the outlined permissions and access. This makes it easy to keep the momentum and have everything ready to go for your new hire in advance.
